- SEEN: A Night of Queer and Trans Creative Exploration
11/01 from 6:30 to 9:00 PM, Sober and All-Ages space
In this space, you’ll be loosely guided through creative exploration and community building around what it means to feel SEEN as an LGBTQIA+ person and together as a community.
Make Shift Boston is a great space to host a wide range of events including film screenings, parties, concerts, workshops, meetings, classes, fundraisers, theater events, and more. Our space is centrally located near both the Orange and Green MBTA lines, and is fully wheelchair accessible with an accessible bathroom.
We have capacity for up to 150 people. Your rental includes use of a projector and screen with option to rent a PA (sound system) at an additional cost of $150. Event rentals help us keep our space open as a resource for Boston’s social justice and arts communities.
For rentals, we charge a sliding scale $50-100/hour. We strive to make the space affordable for a wide range of groups, so if our rates out of your budget, get in touch. We also offer discounts for weekly or monthly recurring events on a case by case basis. Make Shift Boston members can host events in our space for free anytime they want, so if you’re looking to host events regularly, consider becoming a member!
If you have questions contact the Event Coordinator: email@example.com
If Make Shift Boston is not available, please consider renting at these other community-oriented event venues: United South End Settlements across the street, or the Community Church of Boston in Copley Square. Both offer community spaces of a similar size for a similar price. Other alternatives include The Democracy Center in Harvard Square and Encuentro5 in Downtown Boston.
